Terms of Service
Last updated June 30, 2026.
The work
These terms apply when you hire Lithe Agency for any of our Spark, Studio, Storefront, or Custom services as described on our pricing page. The specific deliverables, timeline, and price for your project are whatever we agree to in writing (email or a signed proposal) before work begins.
Payment
Spark and Studio projects are billed half upfront, half on completion, before handover. Storefront is billed monthly, starting once your site is live, and you can cancel anytime — there's no lock-in contract. Custom work is priced and scheduled individually.
Refunds
The upfront deposit covers design and development time already committed and is non-refundable once work has started. If we haven't started work on your project yet, we'll refund it in full. Storefront has no lock-in — cancel anytime and you simply won't be billed again.
Ownership
Once you've paid in full, the website we build for you is yours — content, design, and code. We may keep working files and may reference the finished site in our own portfolio unless you tell us otherwise.
What we're not liable for
We build and maintain your site to a professional standard, but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes (rankings, leads, sales) — too much of that depends on factors outside the website itself. Our liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us for the project in question.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally; the version posted here is the one that applies. For active projects, the terms in place when you signed on govern that engagement.
